Student Teams 2022-23
Members participating in project teams gain skills in teamwork and leadership while building connections with classmates, alumni, and industry. The Diane Bryant Engineering Student Design Center provides a workplace and support for students to excel in applying their course knowledge to the real world. Advanced Modeling Aeronautics Team
AMAT competes in the SAE Aero Design Advanced Class and in the AIAA Design Build Fly competitions. The team spends the year designing, building, and flying a large, remote primary aircraft, autonomously guided secondary colonist delivery aircraft, and supply drops.

Aggie Propulsion Lab
APL is a new student-run liquid-fuel rocketry team, founded in March 2022. The team is working toward building UC Davis’s first liquid rocket engine, with the eventual goal of enabling Davis to design, build, test, and launch liquid-propellant rockets for years to come.

Baja SAE
Baja SAE is a design series of projects that work towards developing an automotive. Members work in subteams to improve their engineering skills: suspension/steering, drivetrain, chassis, and brakes.
